Hi Folks, Looking for guidance, i have recently joined pwc Kolkata, and i have been hearing really scary stuff , 12+ hrs working from the get go and during busy season it gets insane..am really afraid as i have spinal injury and dont know how to cope with that. Any suggestions whether this is the common situation in big 4 or any alternative option you can suggest

25M, unmotivated to work out because I’m so weak and scrawny. I can’t really develop a habit because I just get discouraged being the weakest person in the entire gym. I don’t really feel comfortable around free weights and I don’t want to waste a personal trainers time either.

Though my current company is an mnc but not that big and no work pressure is there, amazing work life balance. I’ve made it 5+ years in a NY M&A practice and have consistent exceeding expectations reviews. I’ve had a few mental breakdowns because of work during this time, but thankfully made it through. I’ve been in a near constant depressive/anxious state for family reasons for the last year and half, and am soon having my first kid. When, or if you set time aside to take care of yourself or do something for yourself, what do you do? I'm realizing I don't really have any "healthy" ways of relaxing outside of work, so drop whatever you got. Joined EY India a few months ago in tech consulting and have been working 12 hrs a day + 4-5 hrs on weekends and official holidays too. How's the job security at Accenture as such? I know that last year, they sacked people ruthlessly and now are facing a resource crunch. Also that they mandatorily place poor performers in PIP.

But how is it in general? Should I perform as per expectation, can I be relaxed about the job security aspect or do you always need to be on your toes?
