Deloitte already gives the most PTO days and holidays/collective disconnect days I’ve seen in the industry. The also have great family benefits. You can negotiate a sign on.
Something to take into consideration, PwC has unlimited sick days whereas Deloitte policy is sick days are built into PTO, so that is also a reason why we accrue more PTO hours.
Also...is it PTO if you can’t really take it and really just banking on a cash out?
I have recently moved from CA canada to states and happy to answer
1. No you cannot negotiate on benefits, they are standard, you have a backup childcare provider but is limited ..
2. Deloitte does offer unlimited sick days but yes there are conditions to meet if you are more than 4 days which includes a doctor certificate and so on
3. All you can negotiate is base and joining bonus , while base is a large bucket to play around, signing bonus is limited and more rare , however relocation yes but capped by level .. as far as I remember for managers it is 5k but on originals and 7.5k for SMs
4. SC range 75-110, M range 95-145 if that helps
Very helpful, thank you.
I got some relocation money but would be surprised if they touch childcare.
I’m not too optimistic about childcare but I was thinking I’d try anyways.
At most u can negotiate salary n bonus
Please share your base and title. I’m trying move from US to Canada

Highlight that Accenture provides backup dependant care and ask if they provide anything similar
In Canada it’s only 3 backup childcare days per year
There are FSA plans to help with childcare and D usually covers 30 days of emergency care.
I see benefits for a few days (way less than 30) with a daycare they have spots in.
