I am an ex-deloitte employee, I was actually going to file ITR but then I saw Deloitte messed up my form 16 and due to which i can see I have a large amount as tax liability in ITR site, however I got a mail on July 12 that they found some errors and will fix it before 20th July; update the IT portal and provide me new form 16 but I'm yet to receive the forms and IT portal is also not updated... Is there anyone who is facing the same issue?

Looking at cpa experience requirements in MA. You need at least 1 years of experience but "no more than 3 years". What does that part mean?

Does anyone have a similar experience? I interviewed with recruiters from two of "Big 4". Both interviews went well, and I was told the recruiters will submit my resume to the partners and senior managers for the next interviews. 3 weeks later, I received the rejection letters without the next interview. I wonder why the partners even not bothered to interview me. If it matters, I am a CPA with 3 years non-PA experience and applied for experienced associate positions. I appreciate any insights.

With social security potentially running out, why couldn’t it be an option for the govt to put $5k for every baby that is born in a year into an account Invested in a govt share class S&P 500 fund. Historical average is 10%+, which would provide roughly $2.7 million for a baby born today. Eventually, this would eliminate the need for soc sec tax, and would only cost $18 Billion a year instead of several trillion a year being deposited into the trust.

I had a quick question

Had a call with audit leaders last week and were told that they haven't finalized the office building and they will get possession of the new building in Pune only by Jan 2023.

Currently they just have the ITS with the seating capacity of 30 people.

Now for audit they want us to go to office 2 days every week. How are we supposed to do that when they don't even have an office? But they are still adamant to get us back to office location by June 1.

Let's have a meetup in Pune? I think there will be a lot of people shifting in now from different cities, especially bachelors, and outside of AYDE and stuff, I think this will be a good way to meet each other. What say?
