Hi guys. I’m looking for advice on comp and career moves. Anticipating a promo at my current firm (a top ten accounting firm) to Senior Associate. I work in a specialty group in tax and making around 115k. I have offers for senior roles at a few big 4 and other top ten firms and law firms as well. Is a 125k offer in HCOL for a senior associate with a jd (soon to have my LLM complete) reasonable in big4? Should I be looking to move to M/A? Or even go to a law firm? Appreciate any feedback.

As a law student interested in going into the field I’ve seen a lot of negative comments saying that only lawyers who couldn’t get into big law go into PA. Although I know most people try to get into big law initially, it is very competitive and many don’t stay past 2-3 years. You certainly don’t make as much going into PA as a lawyer but the pay is certainly not bad and the WLB is generally much better. Can anyone speak to how they got into PA and if you would rather be working in Big Law

Currently accepted an internship at a firm for the winter and also just accepted a separate internship over the summer with a B4 firm. Should I inform the other firm that I already accepted a later internship with a B4 firm or keep it to myself until the internship is over? They are totally different positions and I wanted to have some experience with both but worry they will take it wrong.
