I'm two thirds through the PMA Core Certification, and the info is great but the tests are a joke. They need to contract with an educator that specializes in testing and assessment to come in and develop exams that actually measure if you know the material. The bad test design devalues the certification. Not to zero, but I definitely will not be proud to have earned it. It just means I had $1300 and sat through 15 hours of video lectures.

What are some companies that could be a good exit opportunity in Phillly? Comcast, DOW, FMC...any others come to mind?

Any good resources (books / videos ) to learn Automation Anywhere. YouTube videos are not really helpful.

How do I leave audit? At times I feel trapped thinking to myself there is no way life is suppose to be like this. How do you find the right opportunity? Everyone says network. But, how do I network? So I’ve begun an online certificate program, in hopes it will give me a leg up, as my degree is in a different field. My question is has anyone done the same? And how do they feel it helped? And any other tips on breaking into full time editorial.

What are the cheapest study materials to study for the CFE? I didn’t want to pay out 1k+ for the prep course from ACFE.

Recently accepted a temp role as an HR admin for a former employer. Previously interned there & left because my supervisor did not have any growth opportunities planned out for me; this was in spite of my stellar performance, as reflected in my 90 day review. She has since left the company, but there’s crazy turnover in the company & in the HR department in particular. Just that an HR coordinator resigned. Is it worth going back into a dumpster fire w/ no leadership to gain experience?

Is finding a Generalist position for more than 50k but with me having less than 7 years of HR experience reasonable? Is a generalist position the best next step to get more experience? I got an offer with TCS and initially selected joining date as Jan 2.. but current org released me in 1 month instead of 3 months.. I asked TCS HR and others for early Onboarding but they didn't respond well..

Girlfriend has very obvious high functioning anxiety and body image issues that she admits but thinks she doesn’t need therapy or medication and that reading self-help books will help her. It’s not changing in the last several years and it’s impacting our relationship. Anyone have experience with their SO dealing with untreated anxiety?
