Hi there. Ex Deloitte Sr Mgr here, currently in tech pre sales (SaaS / MarTech). Recently spoke to both Salesforce and Adobe recruiters for roles that I thought were lateral moves (Sr SA / Sr SC), therefore I did not proceed with the selection process. The recruiters from both companies told me they typically hire at that level, and people are considered for promotion to Principal in 1 to 2 years. I found that odd. Is that right? What’s the typical TC for SAs and SCs there? (15+ yrs exp).

My company, Pegasystems, is agressively hiring for Senior Solutions Consultant (presales) positions nationwide. If you are interested in working for an amazing company with market leading products and a great culture, please message me. Happy to discuss further. Assuming you are reasonably qualified, I can provide a referral as well.
Definitely using both of these.

AWS cloud application architect. Had an on-site interview with AWS a few days ago and just got an email saying they want to talk to me about next steps. The role is cloud application architect but I want to ask them about the senior cloud application architect role. I have all the relevant experience for that role and feel like I’d be a better fit for that senior role. How should I approach this conversation? Is this even possible? Amazon

Congrats on the promotion at Pepsi! It sounds like a tough decision, but if you see long-term growth potential at AstraZeneca, it could be worth considering. Pharma might offer more stability and growth, but if you're happy at Pepsi and see more opportunities there, staying could be a good move too. What’s most important to you long-term?
thanks for your perspective. for me wlb and long term stability. in pepsi, things go really fast and sometime we have to stay over time to meet our colleagues from USA
