Slalom Consulting Hi, I saw slalom is hiring Tableau Developer now and I wanna have a try. Does this job need to find projects yourself? And could somebody refer me :) Thanks

Great to see you going after it! Consulting firms like Slalom usually handle project staffing through internal resource managers, so you won’t be out there finding your own gigs. If you haven’t already, start connecting with folks there and drop a note highlighting your Tableau experience. People are more likely to refer when they get a sense of your value.

Well I recently told a guy I have been seeing I have HSV-2. We have not yet been physical but it’s been heading that direction. Man I hate this part - waiting to see what his response will be after he researches and talks to his doctor. I’m on daily meds which help reduce transmission risk. You’d think that since HSV-2 affects 20% of Americans and likely a higher % of gay men, there would be less taboo but it’s hardly ever talked about. Anyone else in my shoes? Or had it disclosed to them?

I have just recently accepted a position as Director of Compliance at a Fin-Tech company here in Naples, FL.. My previous 17 YOE were strictly in the Financial industry. Does anyone know what the average salary is for this position? I have a sinking feeling that I accepted the role too quickly without comparing salaries. The position only pays $50k/year. That seems low to me.
