Bain & Company Atlanta people! I’m in the process of applying for MBA programs and wanted to ask what recruiting is like for MBB from Emorys program? Is there a reasonable shot at getting into the Atlanta office from Emory, or are those openings primarily filled by other schools (Duke, UVA, etc.)

My probation was supposed to be of 6 months (i.e until June 2022), but today I received a notification in Workday that I have passed my probation.
How is this possible?
I was planning to resign within probation for 30days notice period. But now this happened. Will this change my notice period to 90days??

What is the culture like, type of work and reputation of Capco in the Data & Analytics space?
I have some good ex colleagues who moved over there and also looked up on LinkedIn and see lots of seemingly smart and accomplished people in their D&A team in the UK.
I'll ask my ex colleagues too, but wanted to see if people here have any opinion or information on this too.
TIA

Look fundamentally the vast majority of FIG strategy exits are to overwhelmingly large, technology compromised, culturally toxic institutions that get heavy fines every year due to toxic practices from a decade ago (that possibly continue on a daily basis).
Unsurprisingly, this shapes who works in those areas; you either have the odd functional specialist who can find their little niche of regulatory or modelling work satisfying, or climbers who want to be the next CEO.
As a consultant, you are often able to rebrand and go pivot to a sector that has higher growth or more social capital. Why not join the pharma practice and go help develop the next wegovy, or the public sector and try to fix the NHS etc. also, fundamentally finance is a derivative of the UK economy, so unless you think the economy is about to sprint away it's not really an attractive sector with so many headwinds.
