Hi! My agency recently lost one of their smaller clients (my only client) and put me on a 30-day PIP after 3 months of employment. They say it’s performance based but truth be told, I think it’s because my client left as the timing was a day after the client announced the departure. I had no impact and am not the reason the client is leaving the company as my client actually liked my team and never complained. Any tips?

Currently a paralegal at a small start up financial services company been there for just a little over a year. I wear “multiple hats” but more recently I’ve done a lot of PM work and some BA work.
