I was referred for a Consultant position at Deloitte (Risk Advisory - Climate & Sustainability services). Today, I took the Hudson abstract reasoning test and performed poorly (in my opinion). Is the test deal breaker? Do you think that I still have a chance or I should move on?

I am an Account Executive and work in the programmatic team as part of a wider agency, but I’m not sure this is where I want to be. I want something more collaborative, creative, and less to do with numbers and budgets.

I am currently at the end stage of interviews and waiting on a decision from a company if an offer is extended. I reached out to the recruiter on Tuesday asking when I should expect a notification, and was informed Friday. I followed up once more today (Friday), and they stated for me to reach out to them on Monday about the position as they need more time. It sounds like I should cut my losses, but any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I was reached out by a recruiter at PwC for salesforce position. The recruiter mentioned with my 3 YOE, all in consulting with 1 of it being in SF implementation, I would come in as experienced associate or maybe a senior associate. My understanding is associate is same as analyst as Deloitte. Is this correct? Also what’s the salary range I should aim for? I mentioned at least 120K total.

Insurance companies have to make money by taking in more in premiums than paying out in claims, so on average the customer is losing money and has a negative (albeit stable) NPV on their insurance money. But if you had enough money to tolerate the risk of a unexpectedly high expense, wouldn’t it be better to not pay for the insurance?

As a new product manager what books should I be reading? I’ve already read Inspired but looking or more. For context, I’ve joined a series A start up and as expected there’s a lot to do and it’s very fluid. I want to be able to help the head of product as much as possible as well as provide some structure to how we work.
