Hi All!
I am currently a Senior Software Engineer(Backend) with 4 YOE. My current CTC is 21LPA (All Fixed) with additional Yearly bonus. I got a call from Google (Pune/Bangalore/Remote) for Software Engineer - Backend. I have the following doubts but any insights are welcome -
1. Does the lower designation offered make any difference?
2. Kinda ambiguous, but what kind of hike or ballpark pay can I expect?
3. Any similar interviews experiences or focus areas I should prepare for?

As an ADC applying this summer for 2022 start, I haven’t gotten a chance to connect with any L.E.K. Consulting members and I really want to get to know the company better before moving on with my application. Any L.E.K. Consulting fish out there willing to spare a few minutes to chat about their work, the company, the culture etc? Thanks!

I worked as external payroll for 1 year then I became permanent employee of organization was working. When i was a fresher my salary was below tax slab so my external exployer did not generate any form 16 for me. When tried to switch my new organization wants me to submit form 16 as BGC process. 1. Learning and key skillset is important especially when you climb on the leadership ladder (15+ exp) in any org.
2. Meaningful Contacts (LinkedIn, Social Community) will help you with good opportunities.
3. Well articulated resume with good content and context (ATS ready) is the key to open an opportunity.
4. Above all Referrals matters a lot for 15+ yrs of exp.
5. I have 15+ yrs of exp and switched last year to Cognizant. Due to WLB and extended working hours (including weekends) am looking for a switch now but opportunities are less compared to last year due to micro economical factors. So waiting for Q1/Q2 of 2023 where most of the opportunities open up. Until then keep learning, keep grooming your resume, Go through YouTube videos on cracking interviews and if possible learn a new skill which is niche in your tech stack. The time until Q2 of next year is your key investment period. All the best
