Hi, there! I'm working in Eastern Europ.office in advisory, DD for 0.5 year. Before was an auditor in other big-4.Since i began, i haven't had any projects in DD till last month. Asked projects in valuation and occasionally was in restructuring.
Complained that tasks were not that complicated. On 0.5 year i made angry my perform.manager with request to change specialization for valuation.
1) how to keep good relationships with PM?
2) i failed cfa lev1 and don't know how tell to keep good face.Any advice?
3) can I be fired for fluidity?)

Let's say through a combination of aggressive saving, high income, and savvy investments, I manage to save several million by the time I'm 40.

If at that time I decided to pursue my passion and go to law school so that I can be an affordable attorney for worthy causes, will my age hold me back from getting into law school?

Any thoughts around how to use M&A tax skills for the better good? I’m a CPA and originally got into this for a stable / interesting job, but in the long-term I’d like to do something that either influences drafting of tax legislation or helps the public (however naive that may sound). Perhaps I’ve gotten too introspective during the pandemic. Don’t really want to go back for a JD and aside from keeping a roof over my head I’m not very motivated by money. Anyone else have similar ideas?

Additional Posts in Consulting

Told a friend of mine in tech I was considering moving to BCG. He asked me if I would have to move to Boston.

I followed up by asking what he thought the top consulting firms were. "I'd guess PwC and then McKinsey are the best. I've also heard of KPMG, Deloitte, and Bain, but I don't know much about them."

Just a reminder that outside our bubble no-one really cares about firm prestige etc.
