River walk is pretty cool. Also Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch if you like animals and safari.
Pro
Why?
Add Japanese tea garden to the recommendations above.
La Canterra and Hotel Emma are the best places to stay if budget isn’t a factor.
I second natural Alamo, Riverwalk are cool but you can knock those out in a day. Six Flags is there if you’re into that. The Witte Museum (lots of culture), and the SA Museum of art are all pretty legit. I second Natural Bridge Caverns & Wildlife Ranch. The JW Marriott resort & La Cantera are good spots to stay.
Don’t forget the Alamo!
You can come to Austin for a day if you’re fine with driving for 1.5hrs
If you’re a fan of Western art, the Briscoe is one of the top museums in the US and right next to the riverwalk.
I always recommend OOT visitors go the Pearl (very top part of the Riverwalk) - it’s one of the only places in SA visitors and locals mix.
