Why u take my seat!?

Hi! I have recently accepted the offer from PwC India on workday portal - about 10 days ago - it shows no tasks to complete and 'step completed' against review and sign offer letter under completed tasks. The DoJ is July 4th week. I was told that HR would communicate with onbaording emails, BGV emails etc. When do those emails come in generally?

Pretty sure you’re going to get hit with a heavy US federal income tax...
Oh shit 😂 Good for us!
$20k housing allowance is decent. Probably have to pay a little out of pocket but with no taxes, think you will be fine there.
Housing allowance and relocation are on the lower end, need $2K a month at least to rent a nice condo in Dubai. Base and bonus is great, as it’s completely tax free, unless the Fed were to tax you for earnings outside the country.
Nah not from the US!
Pretty sure if you are a US citizen living outside the the United States you will get taxed the federal income tax if you are not paying local government taxes in said Country
Not from the US
Where are you from OP? I wanna move out to Dubai at some point and make some dolla. Your offer is about 2x what you’d get in the UK before tax. About 3x after tax. Hope that adds some perspective.
Wow! This helps a lot!! Thank you :)
OP - I was in Dubai for 5 months, this is a brilliant offer. You are going to a save a lot. Contrary to what people are saying here, Dubai is far cheaper than New York. In 2k USD you would be living like a king, there are far more options in 1k USD too
Thanks! This helps a lot :)
Where are you relocating from?
Europe - France. But I am a UG hire.
