Same advice a recruiter gave me, always be interviewing. Right now is a great time to be available to employers, work diligently at the current role but keep the door open to find a new role elsewhere, barring any legal restrictions from your current role.
This same thing happened to me so I left. I was not willing to settle or feel like I was settling because I got bait and switched. I honestly would start looking elsewhere as that is not fair to you.
There's always going to be a company waiting around the corner with what seems like a sweet offer that goes sour quick. I would honestly start looking for other positions. When they ask why you want to leave your company, just tell them you're looking for further opportunities and then go into your past work.
Just keep interviewing until you can move onto something better. For now, collect a paycheck and keep your eyes on the prize.
You're young, so it's definitely a learning experience. But don't get stuck in a thankless job when you have opportunities to grow elsewhere

Can I ask what the environment there is like?
Lot of people left so there is a lot of responsibility and everyone I work with is older and notes long hours- how many years theyve been here a lot. I would say it’s an environment of overworking, hyper competitive and constant large projects all going on at once
