I recently received an offer from a ID private firm (1900 billable hours) in the area for about 40k more than my currently salary. Personally, I love the fact that we are exposed to different business processes (rather than a specific number or subject matter), also I actually like the fact we are a bit more creative than the typical “in our less than humble opinion we think this number is not too incorrect” approach adopted by our external counterparts.
