The recruiter said the next step is team match/interviews and then the HC. Anyone in a similar situation? What was the result? Google

How exhaustive does your SQL need to be for banking? I spent 2 years as a data analyst in tech consulting and basic joins got me 98% of the way there.
It’s bad in terms of hiring for this job, no no one will remember you for bad interview, and do hackerrank
Sounds like you won’t get the job, but like you said, now you know what you need to improve on.
It’s ok, it happens! There are some good SQL resources people post on LinkedIn to prep for SQL interviews, most of it is just can you know when to do the appropriate join or when to use the appropriate grouping function for calcs or when to use the appropriate filtering clauses.
No one still remember, I promise.
If you understand and can grasp the main concepts with SQL, then what sets you apart is asking for context on the datasets you work with bc how you set the SQL queries up will be so dependent on the use case. Plus a lot of times, there are always 3+ ways to accomplish the same task. (Ideally your query is efficient and short and gets to the point quick but no one will penalize you if it’s the opposite.)
