I was referred by a Partnerships Director for a role at her record label company (same title different team). She recently put in her 2 weeks (an amazing oppprtunity came up that she can’t pass up). Had a great call with a recruiter who knew her personally and fast-tracked me to a call with the hiring manager. Not trying to think to hard about it but he only put me down for a 20 min chat. Is he just chatting with me out of obligation or does he just not have that much time?

Client was part of a divest of company A call it Company AB. Company AB gets divested and stood up independently but is now a part of Company C. Your work with client was all under Company AB until close but no work beyond close. Client calls and asks if you want to work for them at Company CB.

Hi fishes, I was tapped for an internal transfer to the research division of our company. I was lucky to be made a manager in my current workstream w/ only 2 years of experience (typically takes 4-10). The new dept originally offered me an managerial role based on that, but after speaking with higher ups, said they can’t give me a managerial role because of parity issues with other members of the team. The new comp offered with the analyst grade is only peanuts above my current pay. Advice?

Is it a normal process? Because I will have to apply for notice period In my current employer.

Company policy doesn’t allow for employees to roll over PTO. My manager cancelled 5 days of PTO in December and the opportunity to reschedule wasn’t what I wanted. I pushed and they allowed me to roll it over. She told me in IM this was approved, but Skype for Business history is not always reliable. If you were in my shoes how would you go about asking for written approval from my manager and her director without appearing as if you don’t trust them?

When my old manager quit a few months ago, he made sure that I'd be up for a promotion. When I brought it up to my new manager during our annual review, he brushed me off and said that he wants to see how I perform for the next 6mos.
