I have heard that Goldman Sachs is rescinding offers of temporary contract workers. I have an offer letter from Goldman Sachs Bangalore for a full time permanent role and am already on notice period. There is still 2 months for the joining date. Is there a hiring freeze coming? If yes, will they rescind offers that have already been made? Goldman Sachs

Treat them with respect and have a candid chat with them. Then use the opportunity to record them saying something inappropriate and use it to blackmail.
Blackmail is always the answer. Fuck 'em.
Simple as...do you mind copying me next time so MD knows I helped out..if persists, then walk into MDs office and say hey I helped out on x, is there anything else I can do to help
Lol. The md doesn't give a shit. Figure it out like adults. If it doesn't resolve then raise the issue.
Yeah I wouldn't cc the MD. I would just tell the analyst that they need to cc you when they send emails to the MD so you can stay in the loop. This happened to me when I was an analyst with my associate, and what I did was basically whenever that associate sent me comments, I would incorporate and instead of sending the file back to him I would confirm "are we good to send to the MD once these comments are incorporated?" And if he said yes, I would send the file directly to the MD when I was done incorporating and cc the associate. If he says he wants to take a final look, I just reminded him every time I sent it back to please cc me when he sends to the MD. If you remind them 10 seconds before they send, they feel like bigger assholes pretending to forget so they tend to do it.
Ass 1...horrible advice
Write an email cc-ing the MD - I was wondering if yoy had included the content (mentioning everything you worked on) I had worked on yesterday and if there was anything more you needed.
That depends if you want to escalate it. If not, then don't. Ask around if the MD hates internal squabbles..If not and like proactiveness then do it the next time if the other guy/gal doesn't get the hint
generally with the latest advice here. last time this happened I just told him 'try your best to cc me next time' as if it were a difficult task
^forgot to mention - also state that you didn't see a mail come through and it would be great if s/he could cc you going forward
That's a solid move @Associate 1. Not too over the top to copy an MD tho? Especially between 2 same level ppl
I typically give them a few swipes from the blade I keep under my tongue. Very effective trick from my prison days.
Thanks guys glad to alone on this haha great advice tho
