I’ve heard some people of successfully transitioned by applying to roles that would be match for their skills sets and interests
M1- FAANG - Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Netflix, Google.
I get that, and that’s a blanket statement for any job, but what would be the value proposition for those employers to hire someone from a Big Four rather than industry?
Same as hiring any consultant. You've ideally seen certain functions at many places and gleaned useful insight. Just look at the postingsand match your skills. Have plenty of PwC people that exited to FAANG. One of my good friends here just went to Google.
Lol there’s not one role that’s going to be a fit for all consultants. Depends on your level, experience, focus areas, etc
Based on the questions on here I’d question the value prop of big4 myself ;)
OP notice FAANG FO roles will always say “MC, IBD, PE preferred”
lol they know where to find the talent
I think OP is looking for titles they can search for?
Just made the transition. Program Manager roles are your friend. Unless you’re specialized in like...risk or IT consulting or something.
Newbie here. What's FAANG?
Thanks KPMG2.
Anyone has experience transitioning or exploring client servicing/ account management functions? Focus on growing accounts and thoughtfully connecting FAnG solutions to enterprise customers, advertisers? Would love to hear input on that.
