How can one overcome anxiety when presenting?
So I just recently passed my CPA exams and I’m now looking for new opportunities. I’m hoping to work at a big 4 firm in tax and possibly connect with anyone working there right now. Please reach out to me, I would look forward to connecting and learning more about potential opportunities. Thanks!EY PwC Deloitte KPMG

Literally anyone could do internal audit
A lot of FS Audit is pretty applicable to IA - walkthroughs, process documentation (narratives, flowcharts, RCMs), controls testing, deficiency/weakness reporting and remediation, etc. Happy to answer any other questions!
Nope I don't think so! It'll be nice for you to have in the back pocket as a "specialty" area, but I doubt you'd be stuck on those client types by any means
I literally was just extended an offer at a large public financial services company coming from being a Senior in Audit at a Big 4. I start next month. Just increase the internal control portion of an audit by a multiple and you’ve got Internal Audit in industry haha. Exactly what Effectus Group 1 states above!
I see. You’d really have to do some convincing if you’re trying to go the internal audit route because it’s all about ensuring the adequacy and effectiveness of a company’s internal control structure. You’d be performing walkthroughs with control owners, documenting processes and controls, SOX testing, preparing audit reports, planning the internal audits, etc. It may be easier if you tried to go to internal audit of a private equity firm or something like that. Moral of the story, internal audit is all about internal controls. Honestly, it’ll be much easier with you coming from a Big 4 firm. They’ll anticipate that your documentation skills are pretty solid, that you’ve worked on various audits, you work with requesting and obtaining supporting documentation. You’d just have to cater your resume to the job description.
