Hi Fishes
I want to share very bad experience I had at Mastercard
I was given offer by Mastercard in month of Dec The hike was less but looking at brand & other perks I accepted the offer & was looking forward to joining them.I got few offers & I went back to them for sole purpose of renegotiating CTC, to have a industry standard hike. They didn't reverted back for 2-3 days & just dropped a mail that they are revoking initial offer as well on grounds that they didn't like i gave other interview

You can obtain a regionally accredited bachelors degree with online school, such as WGU and others, including State Universities.
They offer low-cost options to study for a degree.
You can see if there are some remote programs or hybrid programs. I agree it would be almost impossible for me to get my bachelors with my two kids. I worked a full time job and went to school and it was only possible because I was able to focus only on myself. Best of luck! It’s going to be hard but I believe you can do it. Maybe you can take few classes a semester and take 4 years instead of two.
And “ where there’s a will, there’s a way…”
Fidelity once you’re hired actually pays for most degrees, up to x dollars per a year.
I did my entire masters on their dime. They have great benefits and don’t require a bachelors anymore.
They really don’t have any entry level roles that are not partially work from home.
Any big firm like JP, Schwab, us, and others have great benefits! have great b
It is difficult but it’s not impossible. I was able to complete my bachelor’s online and master’s in person in an evening program for working professionals. I had to drop and go back to school a few times due to family situations that arose, but I eventually made it all happen. I have a colleague who’s a single parent that was recently able to complete her bachelor’s.
It’s really about solving each piece of the challenge separately coverage for child care, chores, class/book expenses, etc. Sometimes leaning on family to help where you need it.
Take advantage of any programs your employer offers. Tuition reimbursement might only cover a few thousand a year, but it helps. Schools may apply your associate’s credit toward your bachelor’s.
No, it’s not easy, but it’s hopefully worth it in the long run and sets a good example for your children who may be thinking about college someday.
$5,000/year is available to all full-time employees who’ve been with the bank 6+months. It does need to be a business-related degree; they won’t reimburse for a medical degree, for example. There are other requirements of course, like repayment if you leave the company within a year of reimbursement, etc.
I agree it’s quite tasking but with commitment and taking few courses a semester, it’s achievable.
