I’m in between projects. I have been for a while now. So if anyone is looking for a freelance copy and u/x writer, put me in coach! I’m available to work.
Check out my portfolio and let me know if we’re a good profit match.

It’s all emotional intelligence and the ability to plan the demand on the horizon through your demand management governance model and delegate your team to execute successfully, consistently. This includes solving common problems before they happen.
Are you in a transition or trying to get there? Working on pitches and showing your leadership skills is a good way to get visibility with executive management. But as the previous post mentioned, EQ is very important. Dealing well with ambiguity and mentoring those more junior in PM and account. Contribute to improving process. Some of many things you can start with. A significant pay bump usually comes when you take that position at another agency/company.
It's my medium term goal (2-3 years). It makes sense that EQ is important, just challenging since it's not as "straightforward" to improve/master as another hard skill. Good to know that process improvement is something I can start with, since I am working on driving Agile on the largest account we run. Thanks for your comments!

The data and chart tabs on the attached will give a sense of salaries and years experience at most levels.
It's a bit quirky, especially on mobile. Works best in the browser vs. google app.
Much obliged if you add your data.
Thx. Great topic.

Thanks for this.
From what I can tell (I don't see marketing/advertising), we're relatively well-paid as an industry.
I don’t think senior pm to director is a straight line - I would look for Associate Director opportunities if you want next level leadership opportunities to prep for Director level. Managing teams is a huge component as well.
That’s a good point! Titles are varied across companies so it’s a bit confusing, I’m aiming for the level “above” Senior Project Manager. At my company the level above is program director, but some companies might have program manager or associate director too.
