How difficult is it to go from biglaw litigation to compliance in-house? I’m a fourth year litigation associate primarily practicing insurance coverage work (insured side). I hate litigation and want out. Is it even possible to go from this type of work to compliance? Not sure which companies I should target or how to get started. Willing to take a big pay cut.

Probably not hard. I’m in compliance and you have to interpret regulations. You should be great at that.

You could get a compliance job at an insurance company.

Curious if anyone else is or has been in the same boat. I started as an assistant at an entertainment law firm prior to passing the bar. Upon passing, the partner told me they would hire an assistant for me since I now became an associate. That was 1.5 years ago and I am still in the limbo of juggling my own workload + doing assistant roles for my supervisors. I have also had no increase in pay, which is a huge deal for me. Is this normal in the entertainment world? Any suggestions?
