How do Americans survive on so little pto compared to Europe?
I currently work in London and get 25 days off and it seems so little. Can’t imagine having 10!!
How do people cope?

Exactly my thoughts! Even a 3-day off seems a bit too much for them. Lol

It depends on which company you work for. I get take 20 to 25 of pto each yr. Always off last two weeks of dec.

My husband just started a new job in June and he doesn't get ANY vacation time until January 1st, and at that point he will get one week. It's ridiculous.

It’s been 3 years since I (27F) moved to Seattle and still don’t have a solid social circle. Not necessarily a big group… I’m talking 3-4 friends who are easy going and not flakey/ hard to make plans with.

Idk if it’s due to Covid, Seattle freeze, a combination of the two or other factors. Any transplants out there who are NOT the outdoorsy type and feel the same? And if so, how did you get past it?

Did you do the NIPT? I just had my first prenatal appt and they scheduled me for the NIPT at 10 weeks. I’m a little nervous and anxious. Did anyone get it and got a false positive? Do you not recommend it? I wish I could ask family but we’re not telling anyone until the 12 weeks mark.

Anyone else have a need to exercise daily? A lot of people judge me in a negative way and in reality it is because my ADHD brain needs it. 1) the consistency for schedule 2) exercise can help tone down the symptoms before I sit down for the work day 3) it is the only thing I can control to make it look like I am not a mess (disorganization, interrupting) - basically trying to stay in the game at work based on perception of “having it together”. Just wondering if anyone faces the challenges.

Condolences to his family. Truly horrible news.

I really appreciate any assistance here.

Is this normal? Should I stick it out for a few days or is this a big sign that I’m not on the right meds/dose? Nervous to keep trialling this during the workday since a midday crash is not ideal. Appreciate any advice!

Hi Fishes,

Could someone help answer this.
I have a offer from CTS and I'm considering joining here but I've heard a lot of bad remarks regarding bench policy.

Now I'm worried whether i will get a project once I join here or will I get kicked out in 30 days if not.

Tech stack: Mulesoft

This is the first time I'm switching companies so I'm really worried about how life will be if I take the risk and join here.
