How do Big 4 Experienced Hire interviews differ from fresh graduate interviews? Hoping to transition from a boutique firm I joined after college to the Big 4. Interviewed with MBB during school, however, not sure what to expect as an Experienced Hire. YOE 4, Midwest LCOL. Reason: great pay and WLB, but, not challenged and little upwards trajectory.

How in the *expletive* do people maintain full time big law jobs while studying for the bar?! I lateraled from a UBE jurisdiction to CA, and although I've retained ~some~ MBE info, it's way harder this time around trying to balance work (last time it was after law school/before work began).

I'm 2 weeks in and have a few months to go. Please share with me success stories of working full time in a big law gig and still passing the bar, because right now this is feeling like Mission Impossible ☠

I started a full time in-house design job that pays extremely well. I barely have to work at all. This makes me very confused since I kept hearing stories of people working 60+ hr weeks as designers at ad agencies. I am not complaining, but I have this creeping irrational feeling that I’ll get fired for not working even though there’s nothing for me to do. Should i be making up projects or asking for more work? Or just chill out? I just feel very confused. Are a lot of full time jobs like this?
