How do interviews work when you’re an experienced associate/senior switching to another firm?

Hi everyone Google ,
I am facing interview trouble.
1. First round of interview has done
2. 2nd was scheduled on 1 july but interviewer did not join. After a few mails to hr and recruitment team one hr replied that they will reschedule it, and asked me for possible dates.
Since then i am waiting for the interview schedule as all of my given dates have been passed. I don't know how to deal with it as I don't want to miss the opportunity.
Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. What would you think if a recruiter took a different path and asked these questions instead of the usual ones?

Depending on the position but yes a lot of interviews for experienced hires will still have cases
I was experienced hire at PwC and had a very normal hiring experience. No case study
I joined KPMG in May of this year and did not have a case study to present. However, I did interview with four advisory directors to identify where my skill sets would best align. It seems like everyone has a slightly different interview experience, which may be based on what part of the firm you’re trying to join.
KPMG Advisory does not traditionally do case studies in recent years (although if you have a technology certification of some kind you may have to do a competency test to show proof) … otherwise the interviews are primarily behavioral based. Good luck on your search!
I was an experienced hire at Accenture and also did not have a case. I know other firms, such as Kearney and Wyman, will do cases for experienced hires, especially around the Associate level
accenture doesn’t do cases for undergrads either
Hired as a Consultant at Accenture Strategy (CEO&ES) in Europe. 3 round of interviews fit + case and 1 fit with HR.
Expired hire at Accenture and did a case study

I was just hired as a Sr at KPMG, it was a lot of quasi-case studies where they presented a question and I would talk through the methodology I would use based on my experience.
So it's a bit different in the sense that you should be able to speak to industry standards and best practices.
I had 5 interviews total, 2 case at ACN Strat in 2021. First case interview was 3 or 4 smaller cases w/ a Manager level, 2nd case interview was 1 large case w/ a Sr Manager.
This was the same for me. Hired in 2021 into Strat
Interviewing for first big4 role as an experienced hire I had a case.
Switching firms, I did not. Seems pretty pointless for someone to do case that has already proven they can do the actual work.
