Please evaluate this initial offer for Apple ICT3. I think I was low balled, but I want to take more opinions. Currently Sr. MTS at VMware, received Apple ICT3. I was expecting to get to ICT4 but seems like team thinks upper end of ICT3 is more apt. Also, I think it is because I don’t have any counter offers yet.

Hello,
I had my interview with Infosys for .net full stack developer.
It went well and i am hoping for a positive response.
Want to know how much should I expect Or at what pkg should I negotiate with them.
I am thinking of proposing 13-15 LPA negotiable.
4 YOE and 7 LPA currently
.Net full stack
Infosys
Currently I'm in a depressed and indecisive state with very low confidence. My salary is very much below par with respect to my experience.
YoE : 4
CTC : 5.25 lpa
I'm not prepared to make a switch . Is it ethical to ask my manager to revise the CTC . If yes , how much can I ask . Need your valuable inputs 🙏

I think, firstly, you must be a highly valuable part of the firm. BD/Proposal work, Gold Standard employee across the board. Bringing in value beyond what is expected.
Second, the network. If you already maintain a relationship with people who provide you this information, then it makes it a more casual request.
It varies, how, people negotiate it. But if you can bring forth points of why you expected it to be higher and what you have done to deserve it, then it does not hurt to ask.
Following, but for the most part, I don’t think there’s much negotiation, at least at my firm. Whatever they throw you they throw you, and it usually isn’t much. Lol

Haha!! If only that would work...
My thought on bonuses is this. If you get an extra 7% this year for working 10 hours a week, it’s not worth it.
Let’s put it into a different perspective. Let’s say you make $100k a year, and the max bonus you can get is 7%. That's $7000 divided by 520 hours (10 extra hours a week). That’s $13.46 an hour. And that’s before taxes.
Skip the bonus and instead get a side-contract job. You’ll make more money and be able to write it off.
Sorry I should have been more specific. If being offered a job that has cohort salaries, people generally recommend to negotiate on bonus. How do you go about doing that? Aren't they performance based with predetermined ranges? Or do they mean to try to negotiate a sign on bonus?
