How do yall recover from burnout? I’m in deals and I’m swamped. I’ve reached out for help but everybody’s busy. Don’t want to just complain but I’ve been burning the candle at both ends and I’m close to quitting.

There is an opportunity in another office to build out their business in a large industry that I identified. The office has very little client base within the industry. The partners do not have experience in the industry and there are no senior managers or managing directors in that office. How do PPMDs make sure when you are replacing an incumbent, you don't get handed down a broken system ? What sort of knowledge transfer and contractual framework do you get the client to agree to and how do you negotiate on that? I feel clients are not always honest and hide a lot of landmines which a consulting company can walk into and blamed for it.

With the CDC releasing new mandates, What are partners seeing from clients? Are they asking for full return to the office? I definitely want to keep staying wfh and not commuting :/
