Hey Fishes
Can anyone share Mutual Fund schemes in their Portfolio?
I am a newbie and planning to start investing via SIP's in MF ( Around 4-5 SIP's of 10k each)
Thanks in advance.

I read a book, years ago: How to make partner and still have a life.
I started looking at my practice with fresh eyes of: if this was my business how would I run it. What products would we offer, who would we serve, how would I support and develop this team.
Recipe of: supply, demand and meaningful work.
I got this book a year ago and hope I really become a partner and still have a life one day!! It's a good book which I refer to from time to time ☺️
Curiosity, resilience and relationships will get you far, whether its at your current firm or the next.
I was told that I wasn’t going to make partner at my firm, worked on my value proposition, worked with different people and here I am.
Don’t focus on making partner. Focus on being the best associate who is trying to make senior. Rinse and repeat
I love this. Really solid advice....
Relax and wait until you’re later on your career to focus on that. You don’t even know what the levels in between do, forget partners.
Take it one step at a time and excel in your current role while making note of the challenges you faced or things you didn’t like. As you move into more senior roles, use your leadership to effect the changes you wanted to see.
Partner takes 12-15 years at a lot of places and so much can change in that time. You’re at the same place in your career as a 7-10 year old is in school
Very fair point MD1! Thank you
Don't eff up your deliverables. Remember that you should build relationships at your level and not just kiss C-suite butt as they'll be retired when it matters
Perfect guidance.
Make money for the firm, take care of your teams, take care of your clients, be bold strategically. Stay true to yourself. Partnership is a new ladder and if you had to radically change your belief system to get there, you will be miserable pretending to be something you are not.
Focus on building a business, you should confidence that if you were let go, you could start the same business on your own. Be dangerous.

Build relationships! Take initiative. You need to add value to your company. Show them that you can lead.
You should ask yourself why do you want to be a partner? Is it the money or something else? You don’t want to chase a goal until you know why are you chasing it
