I recently interviewed for L7 EM at Google and had 4 great interviews and one not so great system design. I submitted external referrals all of which gave great feedback. The recruiter said the next step is team match/interviews and then the HC. Anyone in a similar situation? What was the result? Google

I have a resume available for those interested but when that question comes up be honest. If you are comfortable tell them about your family, interests and hobbies. They may want to gauge how relatable you are.
No no no. Hiring managers don’t care about your family, interests, or hobbies. They will actually think less of you for answering the question in that way. They want to hear about your professional journey and how you can leverage it to make money for their firm. That’s it. Discuss points that link to revenue. If you find yourself talking about playing golf, it had better be because you organize a charity golf event that you leverage to access prospects. Quantify your historical ROI of the event. Discuss family relations only if they generate leads for you. “...And that’s why you should hire me, Mr. Manager.”
