How do you deal with a CD who is pretty nice but also can't ever do anything that isn't their way or their idea to the point where they're saying " do it like this" and you look at what they did and what you did and it's legit the same.

I have a partner who routinely ignores emails or responds to them several weeks later. He has to approve every single document sent to the client or the court, which means you have a physically go to his office to ask him to review something. Half of the time you go to meet with him in person, he’s either on a call or otherwise busy. I find that this basically creates more work and makes meeting deadlines extremely difficult. They have no clue what the client wants or needs, they don’t ask questions to the client and just expect creatives and strategy to figure it all out while they build timelines and due dates. When you ask them questions their best answers are “let’s connect on this offline”
