Never stop dating. If you’re gonna be together forever, you have to understand your spouse isn’t gonna be the same person over the next 5, 10, 20, 30, etc years, always be curious and get to know them like you did on your first date. Wants, needs, desires, passions, interests, change over time so the more you know your spouse, the more time you’ll be having fun experiencing life together.
Also wanted to mention, this advice may not be for everyone but we just celebrated 24 yrs together/ 21 yrs married and we’re still excited to be with each other and having a lot of fun, so I think that means something.
Embrace each others hobbies. I literally learned to play call of duty (it was rough lol) because he wanted to welcome me into his world. Now we LITERALLY DOMINATE! I would have missed out on so many opportunities to bond with my spouse due to being close minded
