How do you protect your performance when you are being used as a scapegoat? I have turned to emailing and flagging things to senior team members so I have a trail, but I hate calling out peoples lies / mistakes. I am tired of playing along with their false pretenses and getting hit with more work and no support as a result so they can look good.

My manager continues to ask me to help other teams and do work on other billable projects. I’m sick of it .. and I’m going to explicitly say that no I can’t do it because my hours are taken by the existing project we are doing. Is this appropriate?

When your seniors aren’t motivated and pulling their weight, it shows and demotivates you. It’s a domino effect. How do you handle these situations? Hello! I've been struggling the last few weeks because someone on my team has been taking credit for my work. This coworker is really good with buzzwords and getting the attention of upper management. I'm feeling discouraged - what should I do?

Does anyone else have that one person who is more senior than you that is just always so condescending while adding no value themselves? Based out of NYC, so I pay NY state income tax AND NYC city tax (for living in the five boroughs). I left in March to live in a state across the country with significantly less income tax.
