I feel like most of EY federal is internal audit, controls, and audit readiness. At least that’s how it seemed when I interviewed two years ago.
I could be wrong though, just my impression from interviews.
It is interesting that you say that PwC 1, that seems like what many of their positions are geared towards from my perspective as well. Bummer, but if culture is good could be worth slogging it to win interesting work.
Yeah I didn’t mean it as a bad thing at all, just not something I have experience in or was looking to get into. I have heard it’s a good culture and work/life balance though. Salaries seemed the same as the other big 4 firms in the area
