I have 9.5 yrs of experience and am currently level 62 in Microsoft. I feel I should be Senior SE in Microsoft (level 63) but when I got microsoft offer last year the HR said it is the maximum they can give. Fixed base is 28 LPA. 2. I was thinking it is not genuine as they did not had clarity for which they were interviewing me. However in both round people who interviewed had email id with domain of Capgemini.

Is that a good strategy to go ahead with after signing the offer letter with this company?

I see people with multiple offers (5+ in multiple occasions)....A lot of deserving people should have been kept on hold or rejected because of those offer hoarding individuals.

But honestly i don't blame them for this.... It's becoming a culture these days and i also believe that those IT companies deserve this last minute dropout....Their rude HR don't even care to pick up calls or update a candidate and leave them hanging in most of the times.
