How many of you here have left federal and headed back to the commercial side of things? I've got an offer and I'm pretty sure I'm going to take it, with the way things are going with DOGE it's probably more stable. It's unfortunate because I love the client I'm working with, I'm just not sure if our work will survive the shakeup. Anyone here also looking at jumping, for now?

I have an active secret clearance, BS in strategic intelligence, working on a masters in cybersecurity, and taking Security+ in December. No work experience in cyber, just my education and bootcamp course for Security+. Should I still apply for job that want 2-5+ years cyber experience and/or an active TS clearance?

What's the market these days for someone with not-great technical skills, 12 YOE, TS clearance, hard-to-find/unique skillset, elite masters, middle management in DoD contracting, experience with critical/high profile roles?
