How many people have pursued a speciality and was it worth it? Do you like it?

I actually did go specifically into veterinarian dermatology because I had witnesses so many dogs in my life deal with chronic allergies and dermatitis. It's been totally worth it for me because I feel like I'm combatting all the bad nutrition/health routines that dog owners typically give their dogs. I also like having a specialized focus that allows me to feel like an expert in one thing

How are you enjoying that as far as work life balance? I have also been thinking about getting into vet dermatology

I am planning to pursue vet med. I know it is going to be worth t because all the vet meds I know are now successful and some of them are even telling me to pursue this path.

It's funny you say this because I have been considering getting a certification in some speciality for about a year. I'm torn between dentistry and dermatology

Looking for input on changing positions from a Buyer to an International Logistics Coordinator. I have international freight experience and have a potential opportunity. Financially, the move makes a lot of sense. Would this be good for career trajectory? For context, I have been a buyer for several years and this is my first 'real' job, so pretty early in my career.

Career pivot into consulting? I've always been in a non client serving role and I just want that opportunity? Even completed an MBA and no luck. Too much experience in one area that am no longer interested on.

Hi everyone,

I have got the ey hr mail stating i should provide him with aadhar card, information sheet and latest resume for a audit and assurance contract for 6 months as iam a semi qualified CA.

Here my question is should i take this opportunity. Cause since this is only for 6 months. After that, what i can do, where should I try to get the job?

In mid size firms, people won't pay as much as big 4 pays.

Should I take it or am I making a mistake by taking this.

Hi Anyone working atos for manulife/John Hancock insurance client. How's it in terms of work life balance, avg yearly hikes, growth and onsite opportunities.

Working on some law firm applications tonight and it sucks that I know that I am so capable and have a strong work ethic but firms can’t see beyond grades or the fact that I didn’t go to a t14 law school or prestigious undergrad. I’ve worked twice as hard and feel like I’ve barely even gotten half as much. It’s discouraging sometimes especially because I worked so hard with pretty much no guidance (first gen, poc, low-income) to get into college and do well and then get into a t30 law school
