There is only one opp I can think of that filters for prestige (PE), but beyond that, no one cares what consulting firm you worked at -- they only care that you have consulting experience
I don't think anyone is arguing that MBB has it easier but how different is the question. I amnin s&o (supply chain) so am curious to hear

Oh, I just mean exit opportunities. You get that M7 / MBB ‘stamp’ and slave away for 2 years, you’ll get what you want. That’s how this country works. Rarely are you rewarded for actually being better at something. Prestige and appearance is always what you’re paid for

Over 365 days, that adds up to a solid advantage. Over 5 years, very much. By the end of a 30 year career, it's exponential
There are several layers of begging the question at play here, but the primary one is that that experience accrues on a compound interest model. That needs to be substantiated before the conclusions can be analyzed.
