USI Insurance brokerage and consulting - thoughts? A recruiter reached out to me via linked in and I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on this company. They seem to have decent reviews on Glassdoor but I was hoping to get more insight into workload and comp. Thanks in advance! USI

If you’re white like me it’s so important to realize that we were raised in a society where institutionalized racism is normalized, and we were born with privilege. You can’t choose the color of your skin, but you can choose to put ego aside and reflect on why this isn’t happening to me, and be vocal about being anti-racist.

Our policy is TOTAL BULLSHIT. I had to buy a medication that literally I would die without (in a matter of 1 to 3 days) on the black market for about a year, and I know how to navigate health insurance. Either that or our benefits manager sucks. Possibly both.
IPG baby!
It also matters what type of plan. Companies will often cover more of a plan like an HMO but more of a 50/50 split if it’s a more expensive more comprehensive PPO. Personally I’d rather kick in a couple hundred bucks a month to ensure a good PPO.
Me too! While I COULD use the paid for plan I don’t. Because it sucks.
100% covered is not standard to be honest
0%. Freelancer.
100% for my family of 5
WHERE IS THIS MAGICAL FAIRYLAND?!??
100% for me and 50% for my dependents
Same
100% covered by the agency is definitely not industry standard. I have heard of this yet never have enjoyed it. Must be a pretty dope perk
Not enough
Maybe people don’t realize they are paying for it because it’s coming out of their paycheck?
Nothing comes out of my paycheck besides the standard taxes, retirement, etc.
Not enough... IPG insurance is criminal
100% for my family of four on the consultancy side. We still have deductibles (not too high) and copays (reasonable). And an FSA, not an HSA, which I don’t love but I’m not complaining!
100%. Is this an uncommon thing in the industry?
Are you under 26? Yes.
It is not common for health insurance to be fully covered. At least, not that I’m aware of from my precious agency experience or my in house role

At Droga5? 😬
100% for me. Omnicom here.
Same!
Not sure but a pretty significant portion.
They cover about 50%. Could be worse 🤷♀️

Pay around $75 per paycheck, so basically $2,000 per year for health insurance. Agency/holding company pays the rest. I also pay extra for Vision and Dental, around $30 per paycheck for that. I have a $35 copay for doctors, and dental is limited to $1500-2000 in benefits per year.
