Ya’ll take ya vitamins today?
Hello All,
I have recently joined FIS Global around end of April. My mother recently met with an accident and she needs to be operated.
I haven't been able to update the anything regarding the insurance part yet on FIS portal.
Will my mother's treatment be covered under the insurance? If yes, what's the procedure for the same? What are the documents that I need to submit in order to claim the amount?
Can anyone please guide?

I know most of the cleaning products contain a citrus scent....can you tell them to not clean your classroom and bring natural cleaners in for your desks, counters, etc? I would not want to have a reaction before they 'believe' you. Crazy...
I only have the janitorial staff empty my trash for a similar reason, and I keep my classroom clean on my own. Good luck, whatever way you decide to handle this.
That's my issue too....along with higher concentrations of chlorine bleach. Very strong reaction, but not epipen level.
Do you have a union? I was just thinking about when I had to deal with pesticides being used that I was allergic to, and the only thing that got them to take me seriously was my union getting involved. Maybe speak to them.
So, what you're saying is that your principal does not care if you have an anaphylactic reaction on campus? We would make these accommodations for our students. My son has been in a peanut-free classroom. Sure, he loves his PBJ but more importantly, he wants his friends to be healthy and to not die. Have you "spun it" that way to the admin and teachers at your school? They may not be able to change what is served in the cafeteria, but they should be able to provide coverage so you can avoid exposure to citrus. We have a teacher at our school that is deathly allergic to shellfish, so no one brings seafood to work because we love and respect her and do not want her to die. Another teacher is highly allergic to bees/wasps, so she does not have morning/afternoon duty outside to avoid the risk of getting stung. I'm allergic to all the cleaners they use, so they just do not clean my room. What is this world coming to that people cannot respect adults' needs when we bend over backwards to meet the needs of our students? Good grief!!!! Good luck with all of this. (Maybe a leaked story to the press????? That's what always changes the BOEs tune when things go awry here. We are a right-to-work state so "the press" is sometimes the equivalent of a union.)
We don’t ban anaphylactic inducing allergens from our site. We only restrict them from the classroom of the student or teacher. For example a teacher is allergic to peanuts, so none are permitted in her class, but they are allowed other places on campus.
