Anyone joining DI Kolkata in 10th oct?
Hi Fishies,
Looking for any reviews/suggestions regarding Pubmatic. Most important is the tech stack and learning aspects.
Big data technologies(Scala-Spark etc) and Java.
Also in discussion with Impetus and Autodesk (via third party i.e. Applicantz).
CTC is not a concern right now as what they are offering is enough for me right now.
Any suggestions would be helpful

Don’t max it out, max up to your firm % contribution. Put the rest elsewhere
Max it out if you can. That new car can wait.
EY1, if you started in audit you’re full of shit. The salary in the highest cost of living as a staff 1 was just under 60k 2.5 years ago so there is no way you are up to $17k after 2.5 years. I just left EY and know our 401k plan performance wouldn’t have gotten you there with 6% contribution
Max firm match amount, invest the rest with financial advisor. Im 10+ years in industry
Do everything you can to max out your 401k as early on as you can. Invest in your future. Your money will double every 7 years. If You wait 7 years to max out your 401k, you have taken away hundreds of thousands of dollars from retirement.
Live like no one now so that you can live like no one else later.
I like what proviti said, except I wouldn’t waste my time or money with a financial advisor. We do have some decent funds though. And make sure you choose good ones..I have spoken to a few others and their performance was piss poor compared to mine. Not trying to brag either, just saying spend a little time and do some research. And don’t put money in a fuckin bond fund in your 20s lol
Anything that starts with a V and you can’t go wrong.
I have around 17k as a staff 2
Contribute 6% since i started 2.5 years ago
17k in 2.5 years?? What was your starting salary EY 1? I feel like that’s a lot for only contributing 6%
Take the tax deferral and max out your 401K. Big 4 plans have low fees and good returns.
20.5k Staff 2
KPMG1, no response?
It wasn’t so much the amount EY1, but the amount you had based on your contribution percentage. I’ve worked here for 3 years and have almost $40k so obviously 17% in 2.5 years is very possible. I’ve contributed much more though than 6%.
