How often do you all get emails from daycare regarding a sickness that is going around? Our 1.5 year old has been sick A LOT since starting daycare, and I’ve been told it’s normal. But we get emails like 1-2 times a week from this school saying that strep, or covid, or the stomach bug, or whatever has been discovered. This seems absurdly common even for a daycare.

Been living in a luxury building for about a year and start noticing that I have a mild cough when I’m in the building. Thought it’s just something residual after my cold but then I went for a week out of town and it disappeared completely only to start again when I got back and stepped into my building. Anyone experienced anything like that? I’m not going crazy, am I?

Question about inclusion…. I’ve been teaching inclusion for 5 years so I’m still a newb, but a first year coworker of mine said she got points off on her observation because her kids were scattered in the classroom and she was having to move from kid to kid to assist. While I see the point of putting them together for convenience, I don’t agree with this at all! To me this is like singling them out by putting them all together instead of INCLUDED amongst peers.
