Same same…stay strong: it gets better with time. Our 3-year old has been at nursery since she is 6 months old and despite having weekly emails from nursery, she is rarely sick (notwithstanding her constant running nose in winter…but summer is coming). The youngest just started nursery and is sick all the time.
At what age this will get better? 3 or 4 or 5 ?
It would be nice to get emails like that, but that amount of sicknesses is very common. We get no emails, but then today had to pick up kiddo for loose BM/sick. At pickup they were like yea, few kids have been out sick past few days so yours probably got that...thanks for the lack of heads up
Yea that’s probably more annoying than the non-stop emails
There was another recent post like this. Just a rough age and daycare is brutal for it. We don’t get any emails at all which I don’t mind. I assume there is always some mild sickness. They give us a verbal heads up if something legit like hand, foot, and mouth is going around. That’s about all. Covid they do email for.
We get this emails probably once every couple weeks. I think on average our 3 year old is getting actually sick with a fever every 3 weeks
Our daycare didn't send emails about it, but it's really common. Now that my kid is in 2nd grade, it's gotten better.
It’s common. There are certain things that are mandatory for them to inform about. Strep, pink eye, COVID etc.
It sucks but you get through it. The colds build the immune system. Now when they get sick it’s like a day.
