How rigid are you with regards to meal times, nap & bed time (and location)? Finding the rigidity makes it very hard to plan time with others (friends, family) who either don’t have young kids, or have/had a different philosophy when it comes to those things.

Rigid af with sleep, flexible with literally everything else.

This. Many families I know with struggles stem from lack of sleep because of cosleeping with kids or kids up all hours of the day, leading to no alone time for parents.

However, we are flexible when it comes to days out or traveling. If a kid is short on a nap, we make sure we squeeze another one in if it’s age appropriate.

We follow the Huckleberry app rather religiously. We go by their wake windows and sleep times.

Girlfriend of 3 years cheated on me right before we were supposed to leave the state and move in together. We broke up about 4 months ago. I couldn’t demonize her, so I’m still struggling with processing it and idk what to do. I’ve been looking into therapy, but I can only do online which leaves me hesitant. Any advice would be appreciated.

For couples who are not married yet - Do you guys talk about net worth, income, or anything even finance related? I know my SO earns more given his current industry, but thinks it’s rude to talk about those things. But I’m wondering… isn’t it normal for couples who live together or are married share those info? For example - How am I going to know what to pay for our child’s education in the future etc?

I literally cannot stomach to be around my in laws any longer. My wife and I are in neither political camp and we pretty much have the perspective that no matter what the outcome is every 2 and 4 years isn’t going really affect our lives all that great. It’s crazy how much close friends influence you.
Would you stay friends with someone that consistently makes bad financial decisions. Or distance yourself for like-minded folk.

I have a friend that is constantly trying to guilt me and pressure me into overspending, especially on “luxury” items. But I have different goals for my money and she doesn’t seem to respect that.

Faced this weird behaviour from Optum recently. Gave interview for Data Scientist position. HR said feedback is positive. Asked for documents. It's been month now since I have shared the documents. I have no update on the offer. Today I called HR, she called me back saying the position is on hold due to recalibration in team, She has shared interview feedbacks to other teams and will get back to me in couple of days. I am clueless now. My last working day is approaching (In a month). Any Help??

Couldn’t find a lot of info online, appreciate any help and advice!

And to throw into the mix, my lease is up so will be shifting to a new address soon.
