I'm having the last loop interviews with Amazon for an analyst position, but I'm realizing that it might not be the right place for me, I'm currently working at hpe and have a good balance, 11+ YOE, I'm not sure if it's really worth the effort. Can someone tell me about what level sales ops analyst job might be? I looked for range salaries and it looks like it is 55k for Germany, so not really much of what I'm earning now.
I read bad comments about the culture and the workload balance.
It's always been a dream of mine to work at Google, specifically as a UX designer (currently transitioning into UX from visual design). I've been so afraid to apply to any jobs with UX title, Google or not, because I'm always doubting myself and telling myself I'm still under-qualified.
UX designers & hiring managers, what are the skills a designer must have to be "qualified" for a UX position? Keywords on resume? Certifications? Thank you all in advance!

I (white female 31) have always over-thought and stressed about this, and worried about the perceptions and "impact on my reputation"....and then I watched my husband do exactly this and gave zero fucks about it - he strung a company along for weeks, and then quit the day before he was supposed to start and nothing bad happened! His career is doing amazing and he increased his salary by 40k. And in the last year my team made 2 new hires (who happened to both be male) and they both left within the first month of starting for other jobs. No one on my team shamed them, everyone just shrugged and moved on - we certainly wouldn't hire them back, but I don't think it impacted career or "their reputation" at all....
So I would say do what's right for you. Don't waste any time worrying about a company that would replace you in a minute.

Most agencies want an answer within 3 or 4 days. Otherwise they assume you’re stringing them along... which of course, most are... Good luck.
Depends on how much you care about burning bridges with the people working at the second choice place. (i.e., hiring managers, creative recruiters, etc.) If you don’t care or see yourself working with them ever in the future sure, go for it. If you do, try to find a way to stall the acceptance of the first. Or, let the first choice know you have an offer on the table, but they’re your first choice, to see if you can speed up that process.
Be careful with letting the first choice know though. I’ve done it and am pretty sure it made them put me at a higher standard to see if I’m “worth” rushing through their hiring process and skipping potential other candidates. Ended up not getting the offer because the final interviewer who was informed of the rush already seemed disinterested from the start. Something to consider.
Not ideal, but you have to make YOU the #1 priority. Don’t forget that the agency that currently hired you would rescind their offer if they lost the client or had a business event change. Good luck and be grateful you are in this position.

When I really want to hire someone, I want to know if they have another iron in the fire so I can quickly mobilize to fight for them. I don’t extend offers to meh candidates
Do everyone a favor and let them know you have a timeline and are navigating offers
If you have to ask the question, you probably already know it’s not the best idea for your reputation 😬
Places will take forever and a half to get back to you but then get all “used car sales men” on you once they decide they want to move FW.
I saw F-em. Go where you feel most appreciated

Act first, apologize later. They may be hurt initially but will understand. Most would do the same in your position.
It's annoying to the hiring manager you string along but this is the game and they shouldn't take it personally. If they do it's not someone you want to work under now or in the future anyway.
If it’s okay for hiring managers to ghost candidates... then I guess it’s okay for the candidates to look after themselves too.
It doesn’t look great and you’d likely be burning a bridge. Have you tried asking for more time? I recently went through the same thing and was pretty open about the fact that I wanted time to make the decision (which just meant interviewing elsewhere). You should also tell the other agency that you have an offer on the table, which should hopefully expedite the interview process. Taking an offer with the intention of bailing should be a last resort
Not great, but better to bail before you start than a month or two in.
