Can anyone confirm is hiring freeze at Amex?
So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?
Hi Fishes,
Can anyone tell me how many rounds of interview are there in JPMorgan Chase & Co?
I had only 1 round as of now, it was with the Process head VP along with the person I will be reporting (if got selected)
It's been almost 4 days since I had that interview; however, no feedback has been shared with me.
I can see that my profile/application is under review for basic requirements.
Should I consider my profile as reject?
Any thoughts/guidance would be highly appreciated.
Thank you

The fact they called you back screams "No one wants this job". What's one more candidate turning them down?
Nothing more to add other than to say "always trust your spider sense." Good for you for knowing when to dip.
Slow fade
Be straight up and say there are other opportunities that you are exploring that are a better fit for where I am in my career and what I want to do.
You can just say that you think this will not be a good fit for you, just be straight forward. I am sure they will know exactly why.
The red flags are all there, classic agency ones.
I did the same thing and I am glad because I spoke to people who were hired and then left because all the red flags were true.
I went through two interviews in Q1 and then bowed out, saying I wasn't quite ready to leave my agency.
They called me back in July, asking me to reconsider. I said yes but after two more rounds I am hearing flags:
...turmoil, lack of collaboration, turnover on Account team, generational leaders resistant to change, and the old gem "tons of opportunities to improve" processes and teamwork.
My initial gutcheck that this is not a great fit is back. How do I bow out gracefully -- for the second time?
