How to overcome fear of starting a new project?

Has anyone transitioned from being client facing to fully remote software sales? If so, what were the major differences in day to day? I'm currently on site with customers 3 days a week focused around hardware sales but have an interesting opportunity for fully remote software at a higher pay.

Last week joined in hcl. I got better opportunity in other company.If I abscand in hcl.does it any problem?still I have not assigned to any project , iam in Bench now?

Going to a new firm and bringing a client or two with deadlines before I leave — can I do the work now but bill the time later at my new firm as long as I don’t double bill at my current firm?

Hi Accenture people, got offer today, asked HR about project, she mentioned it will be mapped on first day itself and will be connected with project manager. I told her i need details about the project and she said she will talk to project manager and get back to me tommorrow. Everyone says we have to search project after joining only. I'm 6 months old at D! Planning early promotion next year.. counselor and pm both are backing me.. I need to go to India for at least 4 weeks in Dec ... most probably would be rolling off from current project by then .. would this vacation hurt my promotion chances coz of utilization etc?

Throughout my career, I have worked at both “traditional” and “digital” shops. My current agency would fall under traditional but also offers digital services. Our process, roles and skillsets seem way outdated but I wasn’t sure if it was just my opinion or if this is just how it works. For example, we have no CTO or tech leads. Our digital producers feel more like project managers than actual producers. Account Management is just traditional, no real digital knowledge. Feels layered and dated.

So my FAR passing grade expires in November and I am taking my last section BEC in October but won’t get the grade till December after my FAR grade expires. I won’t have to retake FAR will I?

I have a friend who just started a new job-went from a big ad agency to a small start up. The boss at the new job wants to create the company website to show generic work. No actual clients, just work with made up company names. They have many clients that they work with-but won’t show them online. I have never heard of this? Why would someone do that? Isn’t it counterproductive to show fake companies and work? How can they discourage their boss that’s not a good idea without offending them?
