How would you advise a candidate who’s starting a short-term contract at a well-known company while on round 2/5 of interviews for a full-time position (looking to be filled ASAP) at a different well-known company? Would you advise full transparency and updating of LinkedIn profile with the start of the contract position, or would that negatively impact hiring prospects for the full-time role? Both are creative marketing roles in the tech/entertainment space.

I got an offer at Meta as a 3-mo contingent CSM that pays 2x what I make now.

Two pros: 1) Making the jump from a non-tech agency role to FAANG can be tough, so this is a great oppo in that aspect.
2) I'm living in SF on a non-tech salary, so the pay increase would be incredible.

It’s possible I could move into a similar role @ Meta once this expires, but to be safe, I'd need to start the job hunt again asap.
