Is it SAFE joining Wipro as technical lead (B3) with 37LPA? Knowing that package is pretty high as compared to collogues in same band. HR is not ready to give project manager(C1) position.
Appreciate your suggestions/input.
Would there be any scope of increment going forward?

Don't you think the money u hold in stocks and MFs as savings?
They are, but I am referring to having a lumpsum amount in my bank account to withdraw.

You have to start saving half your salary every month. In your case your in-hand must be close to 1.4L per month. So start taking 70k per month out of it and run your family with the other 70k.
And the other thing is do you stay at your own house or rented home ? If rented place try to reduce your rental costs by moving to a newer locality. And also do your parents stay with you or dependent on you ? If not, I would suggest having 70k per month is a decent pay to just stay in a metro city, spend a bit of entertainment and family stuff and the left over amount can be saved.
First start an emergency fund and once that is completed, make sure to take a health insurance and term insurance. Post that start an SIP and from that 70k invest 35k-40k in an index fund and the remaining in debt fund.

10L is possible within 6 months for you, if your package is 22L

Do you pay rent? Or live in your own house? What are liabilities and EMI which you have ? We would need these details to properly check how much you can save per month.

Apart from instruments like PF or PPF, everything is liquid. U can always withdraw stocks ,FD, etc
Bhai concern mat ho.... salary thik h teri....shadi kar le nd family bana le. 34 is a limit nahi to next post is baat p daloge ki age badh gayi h abhi shadi nahi ho rahi kya karu.....
So, you can't book profits in stocks & withdraw some mf units?
I can. But I am talking about having cash to withdraw in my bank account.
Is it like you have spent liquid money on wedding or something?

Partial withdrawal also possible in pf and ppf, with reasons and/or after a tenure - but yeah it's not instant.
First of all get health insurance cover for your parents if you don't have it. Next start sip of the cumulative sum of 70k, 30k in index fund, 10k in multi/mid cap. Of the rest 30, invest 20 in debt fund and rest 10k, increase your vpf contribution for retirement.
Keep all those in auto debit mode so that you start the habit of only surviving with 70k salary.
And if you do get any bonus, invest that whole amount in FD or safer instruments given you have started bit late so can't invest all in equities....
First rule of investment.. first savings , then expense.. not sure about your responsibilities, but save 50 % of your salary as soon as you get it.
Why you need to have more money sitting idle in your savings account? If you just want peace of mind put 5L in FD with sweep in facility
