I am always surprised by people who don't understand why many LGBTQ+ people are not "out" at work. What something you see that a lot of people at work don't understand about LGBTQ+ folks?

It’s 2020. Is a small dainty nose ring still perceived as unprofessional in the workplace? I work in the finance industry.

Now I'm in a client location, My manager is a good person but he told me, I should report to Lead.

Lead is a psycho. He shows hell to the team members including me.

Networking question here. A retired partner at the firm I used to work out reached out to me recently about attending an afternoon during the week (b4 4/30) with one of his long time clients. There’s no worst feeling that to be rejected by someone you love. I gave my heart and time to someone I thought felt the same towards me for more than a year. They decided to end the relationship cause they didn’t feel the same, and even though I appreciate the honesty, it hurts a lot!

I met someone in the new city I moved to but they work for Fox News. They are a good person but I can’t get over their employer and they said I was immature for that.
